Roland Temme’s lifelong fascination with engineering and machines laid the foundation for the establishment of TMCO in 1974. Starting as a one-man shop focused on machining parts for Magnefax audio tape duplicating machines, Roland’s passion for machining propelled TMCO towards more complex projects.
Driven by his vision, TMCO evolved into a hub of innovation under Roland’s leadership. Profits were reinvested into cutting-edge technology, while a dedicated workforce was trained to maximize the potential of these advancements.
Roland’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement has been pivotal in TMCO’s remarkable journey. With the company’s growing reputation came new contracts and opportunities to expand its services. Roland, from the very beginning, harbored a dream for TMCO to evolve into a Total Manufacturing Company, initially named Total Machining Company. Today, that vision is a reality, manifested through state-of-the-art equipment and expertise across engineering, machining, metal and tube fabrication, welding, powder coat finishing, and assembly operations.
