When Roland Temme founded TMCO in 1974, he started with eight simple machines housed in a 742-square-foot machine shop located between the railroad tracks in Lincoln, Nebraska. TMCO’s now 300,000-square foot production facility is a testament to the value of hard work and dedication to a dream.
Temme’s one-man TMCO shop quickly grew after moving into a new facility that could accommodate more employees and state-of-the-art equipment for bigger projects. TMCO’s rapid expansion let it evolve from Total Machining Company to Total Manufacturing Company.
TMCO’s continual re-investments in the latest equipment and workforce training ensured quality and on-time product delivery – even as TMCO’s client base grew. This dedication to innovation is ingrained into how TMCO does business today. We’re always evolving to changing manufacturing technologies and methods.
TMCO’s commitment to innovation is more than just giving our workforce the right tools for the job. The skills of our employees shine in every project. We believe when you hire good people and give them the best machines, it’s almost impossible to fail.
At TMCO, our commitment to service runs deep. From our founder, Roland Temme, to our employees today, giving back is ingrained in our culture. Whether serving on boards, mentoring, or supporting events, we’re dedicated to positively impacting our community.
Job opportunities at TMCO span diverse fields such as engineering, metal fabrication, tubing, machining, and more. We’re always looking for dedicated and skilled individuals.
